This page will explain some of the more convoluted mods in Masterstroke. SexLab mods that interact with creatures are listed here.

SexLab Keybinds

Here are the most commonly used keybinds for SexLab

Global Controls

Managing Arousal

Your character has a stat called Arousal, which determines the chances of certain events occuring, such as traps from Devious Curses going off and Scrappies Matchmaker chosing your character to be part of an orgy. The mod that controls Arousal is called OSL Aroused.

There are three main components to this mod that affects your current arousal state, which are Baseline Arousal, Current Arousal, and Libido.

• Current Arousal: This value is analogous to the historical Arousal value. It represents an actor's current arousal. This value is modified over time based off Baseline Arousal. Also manipulated based off "Events" (ex. Plug Vibration, Actor Orgasm, Butt Slap, etc... Any "one time" action)
• Baseline Arousal: Represents a "baseline" value that your Current Arousal wants to move towards over time. This Value is determined off of the actors current state. Things like Worn Clothes, Worn Devices, Nearby Naked Actors/Sex Scenes, all impact this value.
• Libido: Represents actors minimum Baseline Arousal value. It very slowly moves towards actors current arousal value. This is used as a "Longer Term" tracker of arousal state. Remaining at High Arousal will increase your libido, making it easier to remain at high arousal and harder to remain low arousal.

It is esentially basically three moving lines, two of which chase Baseline Arousal which is then determined by what you wear and what you're seeing. Keep baseline low long enough, and current will settle to a manageable state. If you are exposed to frequent lewd events, your current arousal will remain high, which moves libido up which in turn raises your baseline. Having an orgasm will drop your current arousal to it's baseline, lowering libido, which lowers your baseline arousal.

You can check all three stats in the OSL Aroused MCM, and the Current Arousal can be checked by pressing Right Control (which also allows you to check an NPC's arousal) or by enabling the Sexlab Widgets.

Acheron, Practical Defeat & Yamete Kudasai

Acheron

Acheron is the main component for the defeat mechanic. It determines:

• What can defeat you
• What you can defeat
• What happens after being defeated

It manages to do this by cancelling all damage calculations once a hit would kill you.

Furthermore, several bosses are excluded from being defeatable and defeating you. That means those will also kill you. A few examples are Alduin, Mercer or Harkon at the final fight. A full list of exclusions for either event exclusions (ex. teleport) or actions where Acheron will not intervene can be found here.

Practical Defeat

The main defeat mechanic you'll encounter. Practical Defeat is an Add-On for Acheron which offers outcomes for hostiles. That means it'll only be eligable when you are defeated by hostile factions, such as bandits or similar. Guards are their own event type, so those won't count.

The outcomes, such as robbed, assault, devious devices etc. can be configured in the MCM. It does not offer a way for the player to assault NPCs.

Yamete Kudasai

The second Acheron Add-On, which is primarily used for creature defeat. Yamete Kudasai is rather simple in comparison to Practical Defeat. It still has settings which can be adjusted in the MCM.

This does offer a way for the player to assault victims. You have to enable Hunter's Pride in Acheron's MCM by setting up a hotkey and pressing it for the options to be available.

Scrappies Matchmaker

If NPCs are having a lot of fun in Inns and other locations, the usual culprit is Scrappies. If you need to do a quest it is recommended to setup a Pause key, or tweak the MCM settings so orgies don't happen as often.

Optional MCM tweaks

There are several options available to tweak scrappies or ouright disable it.

1. Disable or Set a pause hotkey in the General menu.
2. Reduce frequency with:
   • Increasing Tick Interval in General. (How frequent the mod tries to matchmake, default is every 20s)
   • Reduce Engagement Chance in Profiles. (The chance for the matchmaking to succeed, default is 30%)
   • Reduce Max Rounds in Threading. (How many times NPCs can start another scene back-to-back, default is 6 times)
3. Limit time and place:
   • Disable certain location tupes in the Location menu. (e.g. Temples)
   • Setup a Time Setting in the Profiles menu. (e.g. Latest at 2 AM, earliest at 7PM only makes NPCs matchmake during the evening.
4. Change who can initiate a scene in the Profiles menu.
   • Setting only Male as Initiator, and only Female as Partner, or vice versa. Prevents Gay/Lesbian animations.

T.N.G

This recommended way to create a Futa, Femboy or Trap character. You can change your characters gender in the MCM. If you enable it, you can quickly change it by pressing the hotkey 0.

SexLab related troubleshooting

I have a quest with children but I don't see any!

SexLab - Sexual Fame disables children by default. In order to do quests like "Dark Brotherhood" you need to temporarily enable them.

• MCM > Sexlab - Sexual Fame > Remove Child NPC = OFF

• Quests with Child NPCs:
  • Dark Brotherhood
  • Sybil of Dibella
  • Zora's Questline

My Futa/Femboy/Trap character keeps using Strap-Ons!

Simply filter the animations by:

• MCM > Sexlab > Animation Settings > Filter Gay/Lesbian animations = ON

I have been defeated and I'm stuck on the ground!

You have several ways of fixing that:

• Re-equip your weapon, or switch to Melee if you are a mage
• Use the console command pushactoraway‍
